Back in September, I made my debut at the Dvořák Prague Festival conducting the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (SOČR) in the Final Concert of the Concertino Praga 2020 Competition. Four very gifted young musicians came to Prague to compete infront of an international jury including artists such as Jakub Hrůša, Lukáš Vondráček, Francois Leleux, Jana Boušková, Václav Hudeček, Daniel Ottensamer and Ivo Kahánek.
One thing which was quite special to me - I conducted four concerti during one evening which is for a conductor quite a rare task.
The Czech Television Art made an exciting 50-minute long documentary about this edition of the competition which premiered on the Czech Television on November, 19.
You can watch it by clicking on the link below.
Edvard Grieg: Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 (Jan Schulmeister)
