In October, Jiří will debut with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in Glasgow. He will conduct pieces by Martinů and Dvořák.
6 OPEN-AIR CONCERTS
Jiři Rožeň will conduct the PKF-Prague Philharmonia in six open-air concerts in Prague this June.
The programme will include Mozart, Martinů and Beethoven.
In March, Jiří will debut in Sweden with the Göterborgs Symfoniker. He will conduct nine performances of
Prokofjev´s Peter and the Wolf.
In June, Jiří will make his debut at the Smetana´s Litomyšl Festival with the trumpet virtuoso Sergei Nakariakov and the Czech Chamber Philharmonic. The repertoire will include pieces by Prokofiev, Gershwin, Bellini, Arban and Offenbach.
DEBUT IN FINLAND
Jiří Rožeň and Esther Yoo debut with the Oulu Symphony Orchestra.
ULSTER ORCHESTRA& BBC NOW DEBUT
Jiří Rožeň makes important UK debuts conducting Ulster Orchestra in their lunchtime series, and later on with the BBC NOW at St Georges Bristol.
JAPANESE DEBUT ANNOUNCED
In June, Jiří will make his Japanese debut with the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra with an all-Scandinavian programme futuring works by Stenhammar, Grieg and Nielsen.
In October 2018, Jiří returns to the Janáček Philharmonic to conduct an all-Janáček futuring his Taras Bulba and Sinfonietta.
