JIŘÍ ROŽEŇ KICKS OFF THE SEASON WITH TWO EXCITING DEBUTS AND A RETURN TO THE CZECH PHILHARMONIC​

Starting in Manchester, Jiří Rožeň conducts the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in a studio concert featuring works by Dvořák, Mahler and Martinů, as well as the BBC New Generation Artist bass-baritone Ashley Riches. The concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

The following week Jiří travels to Prague to work with the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra with whom he will explore a Czech-Scottish programme presenting 20th century music from both countries. Finally, on 7 October Jiří appears with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin in a family concert celebrating Leonard Bernstein and his Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.
