JIŘÍ ROŽEŇ DEBUTS WITH THE CROATIAN RADIOTELEVISION SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Czech conductor Jiří Rožeň debuts with the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra in a big open-air summer concert in Zagreb this week. With a programme featuring Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances, Dances from Galanta by Kodályi as well as a selection from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Jiří brings to life the heart of Zagreb’s old town. The concert will be broadcasted live on the Croatian Radio and its YouTube channel.

Jiří Rožeň continues to establish himself on the international level and this autumn will see his debut with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, as well as returns to the Czech Philharmonic and the Czech Radio Symphony orchestras.
